Day 1: ARRIVE VIENTIANE
When you arrive in Vientiane, our guide will meet and transfer you to your hotel. Check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is your free time to relax or explore the city on your own.
Vientiane is the capital and largest city of Laos, on the banks of the Mekong River near the border with Thailand. It was the administrative capital during French rule and, due to economic growth in recent times, is now the economic center of Laos.
In the evenings, on the riverbank, a night market is organized with some excellent local. It is a great chance for those who want to discover culture as well as the cuisine of the unique city. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 2: VIENTIANE CITY TOUR - BUDDHA PARK (B)
Today, time will be devoted to visiting some most famous sites in Vientiane. Highlights include:
Vat Sisaket- which is famous for not only its cloister wall storing thousands of tiny Buddha images but also its beautiful architecture and layout with history dated back to 1818.
Vat Phra Keo- which was built in 1565 is one of the most impressive and interesting temples in Vientiane. It previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha image.
Patuxay-the memorial monument –was built in 1957 and is the most prominent landmark in the city. The architecture of the monument was inspired by the architecture of Triomphe in Paris and combined with typical Lao motifs. From the top of the monument, you can see an excellent panoramic view of the city.
That Luang -the symbol of Lao sovereignty and an icon of Buddhism in Laos.
The Wat Si Meuang – the home to the guardian spirit of the city.
You could also visit the morning market- Talat Sao to take a glimpse of the local activities or buy some souvenirs as gifts when coming back home.
Then, you will visit the COPE Museum. It is a non-profit organization in Laos which provides prosthetic limbs, mobility assistance and rehabilitation for Lao people who can’t afford it. The COPE visitor center is a small museum but a fantastic one. You can touch, handle and try out the mobility devices on display. It will be an ideal place for those who want to learn about Laos history.
In the afternoon, you will have a short visit to Buddha Park. Buddha Park (Xieng Khuan) is a famous sculpture park with more than 200 religious statues including a huge 40-meter high reclining Buddha image. It was built in 1958 by Luang Pu Bunleua Sulilat, a monk who studied both Buddhism and Hinduism. This explains why his park is full not only of Buddha images but also of Hindu gods. When returning to the city center, you will make a stop a Vocational training center- where disadvantaged women from rural areas have trained a variety of skills of weaving, dyeing, and tailoring. Your long day of experience will finish at sunset.

Day 3: LAO COOKING CLASS (B, L)

Today, you will have a new experience related to Lao cuisine. You will join a cooking class at the Tamarind Restaurant. After meeting at the restaurant, you will be guided to the local market - where you can find a variety of fresh food. It will be a worth-traveling visit because through which, you can get more experience of Lao cuisine and have further understanding about Lao people and their customs. It is an opportunity for you to discover diverse food including fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, meats, and fishes. After having all you need for your dish, return to the cooking place. Here, you will observe how traditional dishes are prepared and different flavors of different regions are combined. Then, you will have time to practice what you have seen to make your dish. Your dish will be what you enjoy during the lunchtime.
The remainder of the day is free. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 4: VIENTIANE – PAKSE - BOLAVEN PLATEAU (B)
In the morning, you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Pakse. When you arrive, our guide will meet and lead you east to visit Bolaven Plateau-which is green all year round and cooler than the rest of Laos and Thailand. Surrounding the plateau there are several protected national parks, dramatic waterfalls, remote hill tribes, dense jungle and a taste of some of the world's best coffee beans.
It’s probably best known for being home to some of Southeast Asia's most spectacular waterfalls including Tad Fane. You will make a stop at Tad Fan waterfall. The impressive Tad Fane twin falls thunder over 100 meters down the cliffs into a gorge, located a few kilometers west of Paksong Town, Champasak Province.
In the afternoon, you continue to visit Tad Lo waterfall- located in the plateau Bolaven Plateau. You will stop at Pong Neua village where Alak minority people inhabited and Kok Bhoung village where Katou minority people live in. It will be a good chance for you to discover customs, traditional fashion and their way of living. Then, return to your lodge. It is free time for you to relax by the riverside or swim in the waterfall. Overnight at Tad Lo.
Day 5: WAT PHOU - 4000 ISLANDS (B)
After enjoying an amazing morning in the plateau, you will continue south to Si Phan Don.
The first stop you will visit is Champasak- a province in southwestern Laos, near the borders with Thailand and Cambodia. You will discover an ancient ruin of Wat Phou- a ruined Khmer Hindu temple complex in southern Laos. It offers stunning views over the surrounding land and the Mekong River. Wat Phu is considered one of the oldest archaeological sites in Laos. Like other notable Khmer architecture in Southeast Asia, it was constructed using sandstone, laterite, and bricks. Wat Phu has been an active temple for Buddhist religious practice for quite some time because Buddhism replaced Hinduism in Laos in the mid 13th century. It will be an ideal place for those who are interested in the history and archeology of Laos.
Upon arrival, you will spend the rest of the day to relax and explore the island on your own. Overnight in the 4000 Islands.
Day 6: 4000 ISLANDS (B)
After your breakfast, you will ride a bicycle to visit Done Det and Done Khone - where you could explore the ruins of French railway tracks and the beautiful Liphi Waterfall. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere in the islands and take awesome photos of the local life and natural beauty. In the afternoon, you will turn back to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free at your leisure. Meals on your own. Overnight in 4000 Islands.
Day 7: 4000 ISLANDS – PAKSE - LUANG PRABANG (B)
This morning, we will transfer back the mainland. You will make a stop at Khone Papheng waterfalls - one of the biggest attractions of the 4000 islands of the Mekong in southern Laos near the border with Cambodia. Because of its beauty, the locals called these falls as the jewel of the Mekong.
We will head to Pakse airport for your flight to Luang Prabang. When you arrive in Luang Prabang, our guide will meet and transfer you to your hotel. Check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is your free time to relax or explore the city on your own.
Luang Prabang is the capital city of Luang Prabang Province in north-central Laos. It is exceptional for both its rich architectural and artistic heritage that reflects the fusion of Lao traditional urban architecture with that of the colonial era. The city is well known for its numerous Buddhist temples and monasteries.
In the evening, you could enjoy authentic Lao flavors especially Beer Lao from a variety of local restaurants. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 8: TAK BAT - WALKING TOUR (B)
You are recommended to get up early, around 5.30 to 6.30am to visit Vat Nong temple. Here, you will witness TheTak Bat ceremony ("Tak Bat" means giving alms to monks). In this ceremony, from the early morning, Thai people go to the temple and bring food with them. They are filling monks bowl with food such as rice, soft drinks, cakes and so on… This ceremony happens in a peaceful and respectful atmosphere. That’s why we recommend that you should wear decent clothing when watching the rituals or if you want to save this moment, you should take photos from a distance to show your respect.
Another choice that you could make is visiting a monk school in the city. This will be a great chance for those who are interested in the monastery because you will have time to talk with young monks, learn about their daily lives.
After your breakfast at the National Museum - where remains a collection of personal artifacts of the royal family, including photos, musical instruments…, you will start your city tour. On this tour, you will visit some most famous temples in the city. Highlights include:
Vat May- the largest and most richly decorated of the temples in Luang Prabang.
Vat Xieng Thong or Temple of the Royal City- one of the most important of Lao monasteries and remains a significant monument to the spirit of religion, royalty and traditional art.
Vat Visoun- the oldest and one of the most beautiful temples of Luang Prabang.
The last one you will visit this morning is Arts and Ethnology Centre.
In the afternoon, you will Ban Xang Khong and Ban Xienglek- the weaving and textile villages. Here, you will have time to explore traditional handicrafts, admire diverse and unique products made by skillful hands of the artisan. After that, you will return to town to visit a monk school. To finish a long day, you will climb Mount Phousi to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the city at sunset.

Day 9: BAN VANGLAE - PAK OU CAVES (B, L)
In the morning, you will take a 1.5-hour land transfer to Ban Don Ngurn village. After having time to discover the village, you will take a private boat to cruise down the Nam Ou River- one of the most important rivers in Laos. En-route, you have plenty of opportunities to admire the stunning limestone karst scenery and then have a delicious picnic lunch on the riverside.
After your lunch, you continue your trip down the river to visit Ban Vanglae,- where Lu minority people still practice traditional weaving and dyeing. Here, you will have a chance to learn about traditional weaving and dyeing techniques and admire unique crafts made by the skillful hands of the locals. Leave the village, you continue your cruise back to Luang Prabang.
On the return way, you will visit the famous cave-Pak Ou- the “mouth” of the “Ou” River, a famous cave with hundreds of statuettes of Buddha. Overlooking the river, it shows a splendid view of the Mekong.
In the late afternoon, you will arrive in LuangPrabang. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in LuangPrabang.
Day 10: LUANG PRABANG FREE DAY (B)
Your day is at leisure or explores the town on your own. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Today is your free time to relax before being transferred to the airport to get a departure flight.
