Day 1: Welcome Arriving at Saigon
Arrival in Saigon, you will be met our local guide at the airport and transfer to downtown City. Check-in hotel. The rest of day free on your own. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 2: Saigon city tour (B, L)
Today we will visit the War Remnants Museum: the story of Vietnam - American war. Exhibits include photographs, machinery, and weapons that depict the harsh realities of war. Thien Hau Temple in China Town, one of the most important pagodas in the city, this richly decorated temple is dedicated to Thien Hau, the Goddess of the Sea and patron of sailors. She is said to travel over the oceans on a mat and ride the clouds to wherever she desires. China town: settled in the late 18th century, this labyrinthine section of Ho Chi Minh City bustles with restaurants, temples, exotic stores, and markets. Binh Tay market. Experience of this integral part of the city's daily business, enjoy a cyclo ride in Chinatown. Have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, Reunification Palace which was the residence of the President Nguyen Van Thieu of former South Vietnam until 1975 (the 1960s - Apr 1975s). The tour continues to Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office. Walking down Dong Khoi street, one of the busiest and luxury streets of Saigon, see the City Hall a beautiful example of French colonial architecture. Up the skydesk at Bitexco financial tower. The tour finish after visiting the Ben Thanh market at around 04:30 - 5:00 PM.
Day 3: Saigon - Caibe - Vinh Long - Can Tho Homestay (B, L, D)
To day, we make the trip through Mekong Delta region to Cai Be. On the way to Cai Be, you will see the colorful rice fields and fruit gardens, stop for coffee at a beautiful Rest-stop in the Mekong. Visit a local religious landmark, see the Cao Dai temple. Arrive at Cai Be boat station, board a motor-boat to see the local market along the river, where vendors sell fresh fruit, vegetables, and handicrafts from boats and install on the shore. Visit a local family where you will see and learn how farmers make coconut candy, pop-rice, ancient house. This is the perfect time to chat with locals, and taste locally-grown fruits
Take a bike/walking around the island in the village roads, pausing to visit local workshops where handbags,..are made. Have lunch then cruise to the next city Vinh Long, from Vinh Long our car will transfer to Can Tho City. On arrival Can Tho, stay overnight in a local homestay where you join the daily activities with local host, cooking and enjoy dinner. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 4: Can Tho - Cycling tour (B, L, D)
Today, local guide will pick up you and transfer to the countryside where you start the bike ride from the villages. Visit a family’s traditional noodle house. You’ll be impressed by the colorful noodles, and how fascinating the noodles are made by local. The family will serve you the yummy noodle pizza made by the owner’s wife…Bike like an insider and make “a ride of your life in Mekong”. Your cycling tour will weave in and out untouched peaceful villages, tropical orchards, countryside roads. Stop and pass by many “monkey bridges” and small canals. Visit and walk around the organic cacao farm where the guide will tell you interesting stories about cacao and Mr. Cacao and how to make chocolates, wines, cosmetics…Have a glass of cacao milk and can taste cacao wine.
Lunch and dinner at homestay with host. Overnight in Can Tho
Day 5: Can Tho - Saigon (B, L)
Start the day with an early morning visit to Cai Rang Floating Market, the largest floating market in the Mekong Delta. Float through bustling trade scenes with vendors selling staple commodities, local products, steaming noodle soups and the freshest of fruits. Next visit one of the oldest house in Mekong Delta, the Binh Thuy ancient house.
Have lunch on the way back to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 6: Cu Chi Tunnels- cricket farm (B, L)
Vung Tau was known as Cap Saint-Jacques under French occupation. It is just 125 km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City. Once this seaside resort was a popular beach destination for French and American service man. Vung Tau is one of the popular seaside resorts of Vietnam with sandy beaches, transparent warm blue water all year-round. Vung Tau offers a good relaxation trip on prime beach caressed by the cool breeze from transparent warm blue waters.
Check out hotel in Saigon, driving to Vung Tau. When arriving in Vung Tau, visit the White House Palace (Bach Dinh), Niet Ban Tinh Xa Pagoda and the Buddhist shrine of Thich Ca Phat Dai, along with a colonial-era lighthouse built by the French, Jesus Christ Statue by walking up the stair of 847 steps, Thang Tam Temple (Whale Temple), the temple displays the bones which came to symbolize the protector deity of the coast.
Have lunch at local restaurant. Check in hotel in Vung Tau, free time to enjoy the beach life.
Day 8: Vung Tau - Saigon (B)
Free time until being transferred to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 9: Saigon - Depature (B)
Free time and depature.
